Doors open ~5:30 PM for social hour, rigs, and mentorship

Meeting Cadence

We meet on the third Thursday of every month (except December) at 7:00 PM. Dates are mirrored on the public events calendar and weekly meeting notices.

License Testing

ARRL VEC testing begins at 6:00 PM in the classroom beside the apparatus bay. Bring your photo ID, FRN, and $15 exam fee.

Talk-In Support

Running late or hauling gear? Call on 145.470 MHz (-0.600, PL 107.2). Control operators monitor the repeater during meeting nights.

Visitors & Families

Non-members are welcome. Doors open around 5:30 PM for show-and-tell, project demos, and helping prospective hams get on the air.

Grab a seat, compare stations, and meet your mentoring team. Membership forms and repeater code plugs are always on hand.

6:00 PM
VE Testing

Volunteer Examiners (VE) administer Technician, General, and Extra elements. Walk-ins welcome until seating is full.

6:45 PM
Pre-Meeting Briefs

Committee leads share quick updates so we can jump straight into business at the top of the hour.

7:00 PM
Call to Order & Reports

Pledge, Silent Key moment, officer reports, finance updates, and a look ahead at service events.

7:30 PM
Training Program

Recent topics include digital voice linking, portable power planning, SKYWARN operations, and coax maintenance.

8:15 PM
Open Floor & Project Help

Members line up questions, announce new nets, or recruit operators for drills and deployments.
